TIP #47 Organization: How to brighten your mood? Start with you desk.


A clutter-free desk will brighten your mood. It's amazing how fast junk can pile up on your desk — so take a moment each day to clean up the mess. Five minutes is all you need. First, take everything on your desk and in your drawers, and put them in one big pile. Second, process this pile from the top down by categorizing its content to trash it, delegate it, file it, do it, or put it on a list to do later. Lastly, repeat at least once daily to keep desk clear.
